Watchers

Due to the recent malware issues, I wanted to make sure that no one thinks my skin got ripped.  :P
I've updated Elementary Rainmeter to version 1.4.  You can get it over at my new gallery, flyinghyrax.deviantart.com

No major appearance updates in this release.  Mainly, I changed the weather XML source to Google, corrected some minor bugs, amended the Variables file, and I'm no longer distributing the Century Gothic font with the .rmskin.

I got a DeviantART account to host my Rainmeter skins, to participate in the awesome Rainmeter community here on DevART.

Desktop customization is what got me into computers, and Rainmeter has been an on-off hobby of mine since pre- 1.0.

Hello Col-Darby,
maybe you can help me.

Man, I simply don't get it.
Maybe you could give me a hint.

Could you please tell me how I can change the size of the space between the "year", "month", "week", "days" stats?
Currently, it looks like this:

But I want it to look like this:

Hi mate, I re-released Uptime as an addon for your Elementary skin. Check it out on my gallery. Hope there is no problem because I made this skin related to Elementary. Have a nice day ;) !

No problem! :)
Installed just fine for me, and the skin works well.

I do have one suggestion. On text-only skins that use a small, thin font like Futurist Fixed-Width, you can add a transparent background to some of the string meters to make the skin easier to click and drag: just add "SolidColor=0,0,0,1"

By the way, your other uptime skin looks pretty sharp as well. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for suggestion. I'll implement that feature in the next version of skin :d

Would you mind doing an updated VOTD rainmeter skin? Except this time with KJV verses? Would be great to see daily! Thanks

Possibly. I'm working on some other stuff right now, so we'll see... I've thought of trying to make it so people can use their own feeds, or just make different variants for different translations.

The hardest part really is finding good RSS feeds to parse - if you know of a good KJV daily verse feed, post up a link so I don't have to hunt it down. :)
